    故事

    「行不二慈，内外不合故。」 因此儒家反对佛教。他们经常提一个故事，假设释迦牟尼佛和孔子在河边，见到他二人的母亲跌到河里，释迦牟尼佛会先去救自己的母亲还是孔子的的母亲？如果他先救自己母亲就不慈悲，应该要平等行慈，如果先救孔子的母亲是不孝。孔子就会先去救自己的母亲，再去救释迦牟尼佛的母亲，这是亲我亲而及人之亲必然的道理。
